What we do
We leave from Sentosa jetty in the early afternoon, cross to Lazarus Island for the beach and the empty side of it, then come back through the strait with the story of the harbour: what was here before the container port, and why the water between the islands is the busiest in the region.
Bring a towel if you want to swim. The beach on Lazarus has no shops, which is the point.
Practical
- Meet at Sentosa Express Beach Station at 12:45; the ferry is included.
- No shade on parts of the crossing — hat and water.
- Cancelled in a thunderstorm; you get the choice of another date or a refund.
